Project Sakchyam (Empowerment)

We provide skill-based training and job opportunities to Gender Based Violence (GBV) survivors which play a fundamental role in boosting their confidence, capacity building, and increase frontiers of income-generating opportunities. The major aim of the training is to provide skills to the GBV survivors and help them secure a source of income. 
Project Sakchyam is all about empowering the survivors of violence. Under this project skill-based training is provided to survivors to help them build their livelihoods. The project has successfully completed 7 skills based training which includes jewelry making, piggy-bank making, macrame training and knitting training. To promote the products made by the survivors we participate in various markets and programs. Currently our survivors are making products that are being sold in Nepal, America and Germany.
